It was the eighties when Barracloughs joined the Polegate community, 1986 to be exact. In 2009 the premises had a full refit, bringing the practice up to date with our other stores. Your Polegate store was rebranded as "Barracloughs" in 2016 and had a further refresh of the interior and exterior in July 2022.
You can find us in the High Street on the right hand side (heading away from the level crossing towards the station), opposite the Medical Centre.

If you are looking for an opticians in Polegate or the surrounding areas, Barracloughs are a reliable choice. There is on-street parking available directly outside the practice, where you can park for 2 hours for free. Alternatively you can park in the station car park which is just a few minute's walk away behind Co-Op, again the first 2 hours are free.
