AN EYE FOR DETAIL
Designed by an Optician
Optician trained during several years in designer oriented stores, back in 1998 Caroline Abram started designing jewels and accessories for the eyewear market, including magnifying glasses and chains. But it was reviving the not so well known object called the lorgnette, that led to an international success.
Caroline Abram opened her workshops in Dakar - where she spent her childhood - and trained a women's team there, which have been manufacturing for 15 years. With all her accessory lines Caroline Abram uses diverse materials such as resin, silver, wood and semi precious stones.
