When your Optician looks into your eye, they are able to get an impression of the condition of the blood vessels.
Very subtle changes may be detected which could indicate Hypertension (high blood pressure). These are easier to pick up using digital imaging such as Retinal Photography or an Optomap Scan. We are able to provide both of these services*. Please note, these additional services are not covered by the NHS.
